Deb Davis

Deb is our business manager and joined Dr. Touchinsky’s practice in 2007. She helps to oversee all aspects of the business and helps Dr. Touchinsky manage the day to day operations of the practice. She is a graduate of Penn State University with an Associate Degree in Business Administration and also a graduate of Alvernia College with Bachelor’s Degrees in both Accounting and Management.

Deb has been a proponent of natural health care for the past decade. Suffering from an illness of her own with no help from conventional medicine, she turned to organic whole foods and lifestyle changes to turn her health around. She uses these same methods to help her daughter Elizabeth, who has Aspergers, to become as highly functional as possible.

Deb is a cooking enthusiast and is working on a cooking blog and cookbook with a friend. In addition, she enjoys arts and crafts, music, reading, writing, and working on home improvement projects. Deb also helps coordinate Walk Saint Clair! which aims to get people moving, and grow the sense of community, while learning the history in her town.

Stacey Matukewicz

Stacey joined Dr. Touchinsky’s practice in 2012, and is the patient care coordinator. Stacey is the friendly face at the front desk when you walk in the door. Being the patient care coordinator gives her the opportunity to greet and interact with the patients as they come and go from the office. She enjoys her front row seat watching the progress of each patient.

As a chiropractic and functional medicine patient herself, Stacey is enthusiastic about the possibilities for others to be relieved of pain and improve the quality of their health.

In her spare time, Stacey enjoys going to sporting events, being outdoors and spending time with friends and family. Stacey resides in Schuylkill Haven with her husband Stan, son Brayden and two dogs Fenway and Mookie.

Jessica Tarleton, INHC

Jessica is a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. She graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where she learned innovative coaching methods and studied over 100 different dietary theories. She has studied with the world’s top health and wellness experts. Her education has provided her with knowledge in holistic nutrition and prevention.

For the past 7 years she has been working with clients that have successfully followed her plan. Many have lost weight and have been able to reduce or eliminate their need for medications, all through food and lifestyle changes.

She works with her clients based on bio-individuality, meaning that no two bodies are the same. She encourages others to see things from a different perspective, guided through knowledge, motivation, and support. Her goal is to make her clients’ transition into a healthy lifestyle easier than they believe. She teaches her clients to get back to basics, and believes that health should not be complicated.

Jen Dillow-Bashore

Jen is a health coach and world traveler with extensive experience guiding others to greater health and wellness. She has a BS in Medical Imaging, a teaching degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis on Biology, and a MS in Educational Development and Strategies. Jen is currently finishing her certification with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She has been a dance instructor and choreographer for Culture Shock Performing Arts Center for 11 years specializing in hip hop, Irish, and gymnastics. She is also a Malu Lani Polynesian dancer.

Her personal story inspired her to educate and guide others in changing the way they live, think, and experience life. She was tired of dealing with chronic fatigue, weight gain, hormonal imbalances and vague diagnoses with no real answers that were significantly affecting her quality of life. While studying abroad at the University of Edinburgh Scotland, she was able to look outside the box to understand a proactive approach to healthcare. She healed her body with a combination of Eastern & Western medicine, essential oils, and “real” food.
She became passionate about bringing more awareness and power to heal body, mind, and souI. She has been studying health, nutrition, and fitness for over fifteen years and believes the roles of nutritious food, a balanced lifestyle, and a positive mindset are keys to overall health.

Janelle Bensinger, RN

Janelle is a registered nurse and holistic health coach. She graduated from Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing in 2003 and has since been a full-time practicing nurse. She has worked in the fields of post-operative, general medicine, hospice, and acute rehabilitation specializing in spinal cord injuries. She currently works with a dedicated team to provide healing for chronic wounds.

Shortly after becoming a nurse, it became obvious to Janelle that she was caring for many patients with preventable chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, and obesity. She became disillusioned with the current medical model as she observed the main, or only, treatment for many issues was medication and surgery.

Her desire to truly help and bring healing to her patients led her to discover functional medicine. She obtained a certification in health coaching from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. As a holistic health coach, Janelle helps clients make significant changes in both food and lifestyle choices. Such changes often have profound impacts on health and wellness.

She enjoys her life with activities such as reading, hiking, cooking, drinking wine, and visiting with friends and family, especially her grandson. She blogs at livingwellwithjanelle.wordpress.com.
